In a strategic move to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the public service, Governor Dapo Abiodun has appointed four new Permanent Secretaries.
The appointees, selected based on merit, professionalism, inclusiveness, and seniority, are Mrs. Adejumoke Adewole, Lanre Ogunyinka, Augustine Adekunle Oyesanwen, and Arinola Nusirat Adetayo.
The new Permanent Secretaries come with a wealth of experience and expertise. Mrs. Adewole, a seasoned legal professional, served as Director of Public Prosecutions in the Ministry of Justice.
Mr. Ogunyinka, a communication expert, was Director of Information in the Ministry of Information and Strategy. Mr. Oyesanwen, an agricultural planning specialist, was Director of Agricultural Planning, while Mrs. Adetayo, a finance expert, was Deputy Director of Accounts.
The swearing-in ceremony, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, 7th June, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the State Executive Chamber, Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, marks a significant milestone in Governor Abiodun’s efforts to strengthen the public service and ensure continuity in leadership and management.
The new Permanent Secretaries are expected to bring exceptional leadership and dedication to their roles, driving the implementation of the ‘Building Our Future Together’ Agenda and contributing to the growth and development of Ogun State.
