Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has given approval for the 2023/2024 promotion examination for all eligible staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).
This was disclosed by Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, Chairman of Kwara TESCOM, during a meeting with the commission’s management staff in Ilorin. He emphasized that the approval reflects Governor AbdulRazaq’s ongoing commitment to improving the welfare of teachers across the state.
Mallam Bello noted that since taking office in 2019, the governor has provided financial backing for the promotion arrears from 2015 to 2022. He encouraged the affected TESCOM staff to remain dedicated to their duties, as their commitment is crucial to maintaining effective service delivery.
The chairman assured that the current administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of TESCOM staff, adding that the date for the promotion examination will be communicated in due course.
