Gov Makinde To Pay Teachers’ Annual Leave Bonus February 2023

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has announced that his administration will pay the teachers’ annual leave bonus for 2022 by the end of February.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, on behalf of the Media Committee of the Governor’s Campaign Council, stated this on Wednesday 16th february, when he met with the representatives of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Itesiwaju Local Government Chapter in Otu.

Governor Makinde who expressed his undying appreciation for teachers and the teaching profession, added that his administration will keep trying all in its power to make sure that teachers and other employees are happy with their jobs.

The governor equally told residents of the Council at separate meetings with the leadership of religious faiths and the traditional council that his administration will explore tourism and solid mineral development to expand the state’s economy.
