Gov Abiodun Tasks New Ogun Monarch On Value Driven Leadership

The new Olu of Ikija-Orile, Oba Babatunde Kolawole Ayorinde has been charged to offer value-driven leadership, advocating efforts that could enhance socio-economic development of the town and attracting credible investors to usher in speedy growth and progress of Ikija town.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun gave the charge at the official installation and presentation of Staff of Office to the new monarch at Ikija-Orile in Ifo Local Government Area, adding that the monarch should cooperate with other Obas in his Council by playing active role towards promoting the cherished culture, customs, values and norms as well as general socio-economic of the State.

Represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, Governor Abiodun urged Oba Babatunde Ayorinde to be accessible, accommodating and responsive to his people’s yearnings, said that growth and development thrive in a peaceful and conducive atmosphere.
