Gov Abiodun Says Asero Adire – Market To Be Ready In 2023

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured market men and women at the Asero Adire-Kampala market that business would commence fully in the market in the new year.

Prince Dapo Abiodun who made this known during an unscheduled visit to the market, a beneficiary of the Federal Government’s development plan for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises(MSMEs) in the country, said that he was in the market to see for himself the level of completion.

Abiodun while commending the MSME development initiative of the federal government which brought about the provision of transformers, solar panel, cloth dryers, completed stalls among others, said that the state government as partners in the initiative would further give the center which is one of the two Adire centers in the state the facelift it deserves.

“This is one of the two places where Adire is been produced, the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammad Buhari has a program which is designed to strengthen our MSMEs.

” They have chosen different MSMEs program across the country and in our state, the first of such enterprises that was chosen is the Adire market, they’ve come to invest in different items to support the efficiency of the production of Adire,” he said.

The Governor who also promised to continue to support the development of Adire, urged the market men and women to go all out and collect their permanent voter’s card.

In her remarks, the Iyaloja Asero Kampala market, Oluwakemi Oloyede who commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for being the number one marketer of Adire in the state, said that they are glad with the development.
