Gov Abiodun Greets Muslims At Ramadan

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated Muslims in the state and the world on the commencement of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan.

The Governor in a statement made available on his verified social media platforms and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent, said Ramadan is a time for reflection, spiritual growth, renewal of faith and another chance for Muslims to rededicate themselves to the worship of Allah.

Describing Ramadan as an important pillar of Islam, Abiodun said Muslim faithfuls should use the fasting period to shield themselves from sin.

He said, “In this holy month of Ramadan, I would like to seize this opportunity to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a very blessed and joyful Ramadan Kareem”.

“The Ramadan period is a time for reflection, spiritual growth, and renewal of faith, thereby allowing all Islamic Faithful to shield themselves from sin through fasting”.

“As we embark on this blessed journey, let us remember the true spirit of Ramadan and strive to be our best selves”.

“May this month bring us closer to the Almighty Allah and instill in us the values of kindness, compassion, and generosity towards others. May our fast be accepted and our prayers answered”, he added.
