Gov. Abiodun Condoles With Family Of Defunct Ifo/Ota Local Chairman

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has paid a condolence visit to the family of the last Chairman of the defunct Ifo Local Local government and the first Chairman of Ado-Odo Ota local government, late Chief Nasirudeen Akanbi Deinde at his family house, in Sango Ota.

Governor Abiodun,  represented by his Deputy, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, who led the state government delegation to the deceased house, described the late Chief Deinde as someone who lived an exemplary life, whose teachings as a politician and a leader will never be forgotten.

“Chief Deinde is an eminent son of great Awori land who served the state diligently and has left a wonderful legacy for us which we should all continue with. As a politician and a political leaders, it is always good to reference individuals like Chief Deinde. He served honorably and came back home to give a good account of himself and I want us, as people in government to take from this lesson by doing our best for the people” he said

The Governor said the late Deinde who was a pioneer member of Iganmode club, also rendered services to humanity, during his life time.

Welcoming the state government delegation to the family house, son of the deceased, Dr Wale Deinde, said his late father has left a very good name for them as children,  promising not to drag the name in the mud.

Appreciating the state government for the condolence visit, the deceased eldest son, Mr Yinka Deinde thanked the state government for identifying with the Deinde families, saying the family is highly honoured by the visit.
