Fuel tanker, trucks on fire on Lagos-Ibadan expressway

A fuel tanker fire was again recorded on Wednesday night on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The fire which was still raging as of the time of filing this report at 11.40 pm had engulfed two trucks apart from the tanker.

The fire which started at the Olowotedo bus stop end of the highway’s outward Lagos lane had already spread to the Deeper Christian Life Ministry’s campground end of the road.

Motorists heading outside Lagos were diverted to the Lagos-bound lane from the turning in front of the NASFAT camp.

Firefighters were still struggling to put the fire out as of the time of filing this report
