The Kaduna Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed its personnel and Special Marshals across the state to ensure a safe and smooth Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to Sector Commander, Mr. Kabir Nadabo, the deployment is part of the corps’ nationwide patrol and rescue operations during the Sallah festivities.
The FRSC has implemented strategies to prevent accidents and traffic congestion, particularly on routes prone to heavy traffic during the Sallah period.
Resources such as ambulances, motorcycles, and tow trucks have been allocated to enhance traffic control and rescue operations.
The focus of the operation is on enforcing traffic laws related to overloading, expired tires, driver’s license violations, speeding, and lane discipline.
The command has acknowledged the support of the Kaduna State Government and reiterated its commitment to ensuring compliance with traffic rules and regulations for a successful Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
With this deployment, the FRSC aims to ensure a safe and seamless vehicular movement during and after the festival, and to minimize the risk of accidents and traffic congestion.
