The Managing Director and CEO of FRAJEND Motorcycles, an investment company in the business of motorcycle manufacturing and assembling in Nigeria has donated two motorcycles to Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) to aid its statutory operations.

The General of LASEPA, Dr. Dolapo Fasawe, who received the motorcycles on behalf of the Agency, also facilitated the donation of two giant waste disposal bins from Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) to FRAJEND for effective management of the company’s waste.

Addressing newsmen after the presentation of the motorcycles and waste bins, Fasawe described the gesture as goodwill needed for a sustainable working relationship, imploring the management of FRAJEND to partner with the State Government in promoting a noise-free Lagos.

While noting that challenges are often experienced by officials of the Agency in navigating the metropolis, she maintained that the donated motorcycles would further enhance the service delivery of LASEPA to residents.

Fasawe also used the occasion to advise the officials of the Agency not to engage in physical fracas with anyone during their monitoring or enforcement exercises, stressing that the State Government has ways of dealing with hostile and recalcitrant organisations.

The General Manager cautioned personnel to observe patience and study situations holistically during the discharge of their duties, stating that business activities must not thrive at the expense of a peaceful environment.

Earlier in his remarks, the Managing Director/CEO of FRAJEND Investment, Chief Frank Enedu commended the efforts made by LASEPA in recent times to address the menace of environmental pollution.

Enedu revealed that the donation of motorcycles were part of efforts of the organisation to establish a mutual relationship with the sector’s stakeholders, calling on other Corporate Organisations to channel their social responsibility activities to areas of dire need.
