Olajumoke Orisaguna, popularly known as ‘Olajumoke Onibread,’ has made a significant return to public life, this time as a radio presenter.
The former bread seller, whose life transformed after a chance encounter with photographer TY Bello in 2016, now hosts a talk show titled “Kilon Shele” on City FM.
Speaking during a press conference held on Wednesday in Lagos, Olajumoke expressed immense gratitude to her supporters, particularly TY Bello, who was instrumental in her rise to fame.
“I want to use my platform to share my story, the good and the bad,” she said in Yoruba, recounting her journey from obscurity to prominence.
Olajumoke also revealed her intentions to return to school while reflecting on the financial struggles and exploitation she endured due to her lack of formal education.
She explained how these challenges shaped her desire to inspire others facing similar circumstances.
Her talk show, “Kilon Shele,” delves into her personal experiences, including her battles with exploitative managers, emotional struggles during her hiatus from the public eye, and her ongoing journey toward self-empowerment.
The show will also feature discussions with guests who have overcome adversity, aiming to serve as a source of hope and motivation.
“I want to show that even in the darkest moments, there is hope for a better tomorrow,” she shared. “My show will be a beacon of inspiration for those who have faced similar struggles.”
Olajumoke first rose to fame in 2016 after accidentally walking into a photo shoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah, a moment captured by TY Bello. Her story of transformation inspired millions worldwide, and her recent return highlights her resilience and determination to rewrite her narrative.
