Federal Fire Service Recruitment Kicks Off September 15, Applicants Warned Against Fraud

The Federal Government has revealed that the next phase of the Federal Fire Service (FFS) recruitment will commence on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

This information was conveyed in a statement released by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) in Abuja on Saturday.

According to the statement, signed by CDCFIB Secretary Ja’afaru Ahmed, no fees will be required at any stage of the recruitment process.

Qualified applicants will be notified via invitation letters, which will include details on venues for physical screening, aptitude tests, and certificate verification.

The Board also issued a strong warning to applicants to be cautious of fraudulent communications from job scammers, reiterating that no middlemen are involved in the recruitment process.

The statement read, “The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to announce that the next phase of the Federal Fire Service (FFS) Recruitment Exercise will commence on September 15, 2024.

Shortlisted candidates will receive invitation letters via the phone numbers and email addresses provided during registration, outlining where and when to appear for physical screening, certificate verification, and aptitude tests.”
