Lagos, Nigeria – Mercy Eke, the winner of Big Brother Naija season 4, has shared her personal story of undergoing a Brazilian butt lift, revealing the physical and emotional challenges she faced.

In a recent interview on the Love is a Game show, Eke disclosed that societal pressures in 2018 led her to consider the cosmetic procedure. Despite initially hesitating, she ultimately decided to go through with the surgery.

Eke described the experience as incredibly painful, saying she “cried for days” after the procedure. However, she believes the results were worth the discomfort, stating that she is satisfied with the outcome.

By sharing her story, Eke aims to raise awareness about the realities of cosmetic procedures and the pressures that may lead individuals to consider them. Her honesty sparks a conversation about body image, self-acceptance, and the importance of informed decision-making when it comes to personal choices about one’s body.

“To be very truthful, at first, it was because of the trend. I did my body in 2018. I think at the time it was just the trend, maybe peer pressure; everyone was doing it. I had a beautiful, slim body, but my stomach was a little too big,” Eke explained.

Eke described the post-surgery recovery process as particularly grueling, noting that the massages required afterward were extremely painful.

“After the surgery, you get to have your body massaged—that’s the painful part. You can’t sleep on your butt for 14 days; you have to lay on your stomach. It was painful. You cry for three days, but it’s worth it,” she said.

Addressing rumors about other procedures, Eke clarified that aside from the butt lift and minor fillers in her nose, she has not undergone further body augmentation.

She also emphasized the importance of educating people about cosmetic procedures, pointing out that many misunderstand what liposuction entails.

“My butt is the softest thing you will ever touch because it’s just fat; it’s like water,” she added.
