…seeks the support of Nigerians towards Tinubu’s administration
A Political Support Group, Bola Campaign Organization (BCO), has Felicitated with the President- Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his Vice President-Elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, and other Muslim Ummah on the completion of Ramadan fast which ultimately heralds the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, prayed that the Almighty Allah would accept their worship and keep them all alive and healthy to witness many more.
The group made this felicitation known in a statement jointly signed by its National Patron, Alhaji Korede Abdulwahab Quadri (FCIB), National Coordinator, QS Mohamed Makinta (FNIQS) and Alhaja Folasade Tinubu-Ojo (National Women Leader), called on members of the public not to forget the lessons that the Holy Month taught us all by remaining pious and close to Allah and denying themselves in total submission to His will.
The group equally called on Nigerians to continue to live together harmoniously, while urging them to remain relentless in their prayers and support for the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration expected to take effect come May 29, 2023.
The group who described the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a reflection of his dedication, leadership prowess and determination to lead the most populous country in Africa towards the actualization of a renewed hope for a new and better Nigeria.
The group however called on those bent at disrupting the peaceful transition of power from the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari to the President – Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bury their ideas as the Nigeria’s constitution does not have provision for intern government, but rather those aggrieved by the victory of Tinubu should wait for the tribunal as all electoral cases are before the court.
The group thereafter charged all broadcasting companies to be on the lookout and not allow themselves to be used as instrument in the hands of some political gladiators to disrupt the present peace and tranquility, Nigeria is enjoying among the comity of states.
He said, “As Muslim ummah all over the world celebrate the end of fasting in the hold month of Ramadan, I, Alhaji Korede Abdulwahab Quadri (FCIB), National Coordinator, QS Mohamed Makinta (FNIQS) and Alhaja Folasade Tinubu-Ojo (National Women Leader), on behalf of Bola Campaign Organization (BCO), is using this opportunity to congratulate our President – Elect and Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice President – Elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, on successfully completing the demanding spiritual obligation of Ramadan”.
“We pray that God Almighty will continue to bestow unto you the needed strength, knowledge and guidance to champion the affairs of the populous country in Africa, Nigeria as you assume office come May 29, 2023 as Nigeria’s President”.
“His Excellency, your emergence as Nigeria’s President – Elect is a reflection of your dedication, leadership prowess, determination and agility, conveniently, it has shown that God has destined you for such position despite ill-fated campaigns against your victory”.
“All of us at Bola Campaign Organization (BCO), supporters and Nigerians are happy about your victory during, before and after the party’s primary and your resent victory at the February 25 Presidential Election”.
“We thank Almighty Allah for granting you safe trip to Saudi Arabia for your lesser Hajj and we pray that God blessings and protection will continue to be with you as you prepare to assume office”.
“We also want to use this opportunity to call on those who are bent on disrupting the peaceful transition of power from the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari to the President – Elect to be guided in their call for an interim Government, as this formation of government does not have bearing in the Nigeria’s constitution”.
“Our appeal also go to some aggrieved parties who are not ‘comfortable’ with the outcome of the Presidential Election to abide by the position of the tribunal as all post election cases are already in court for legal redress, they should not do that at the detriment of Nigeria’s peaceful coexistence and unity”.
“Let us reiterate here that Nigeria at this present time deserve a good President and they shouldn’t be deprived on one with uncoordinated agitation that doesn’t mean well for the overall majority of the nation”.
“We are confident of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s track records and we are sure this and many more would be put into use to improve Nigeria’s unity, democratic system, infrastructural development, security architecture, education, and other important Sector of the economy among other comity of states”.
“Finally, we’ll like to use this medium to sound not of warning to broadcast houses to on the lookout and not be allowed to be used as instrument by political gladiators to disrupt Nigeria’s democratic system, segregation and national unity”.
“It is our desire to see Nigeria thrive and also as a place to call our own even as we strive to ensure its existence despite the many challenges facing it at the moment”, he added.
