Ogun Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun lifted the spirits of people in the Senatorial District ahead of this weekend’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Chief Aderinokun in his usual humanitarian gesture distributed about 300 rams to Muslim faithful across the six Local Government Areas in Ogun Central on Thursday and also started the distribution of 2000 foodstuff to families in Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North, Ewekoro, Odeda, Obafemi-Owode and Ifo LGs.

The Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom said his latest benevolence during this festive period was motivated by the demeaning economic system Nigeria finds itself and his consistuents’ yearnings about high cost goods in the market.

Chief Aderinokun in his address said: “We all see how things are going in this country but I can’t just ignore the call of my people from every corner of Ogun Central.

“My people are hungry and I will continue to do my best in helping and empowering them. It is not just about Sallah, this is an annual event I have been doing since 2020 and it is not ending this year.”

Community elders including religious leaders who were present at the distribution of the rams and food package were full of prayers for Chief Aderinokun as they beamed home with delight.
