Ogun Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun joined the Muslim community in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State to pray and celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir on Saturday.

Chief Aderinokun observed Eid prayers at the Agbado Central Mosque which had community leaders and the Hausa community in Ifo in attendance.

The prayer, focused on togetherness, love and security of Nigeria, was led by Chief Imam Ahmad Ahmad of Agbado Central Mosque.

The cleric at the end of his address, admonished Chief Aderinokun not to be far away from the Agbado community and also to support them in the area of community development.

Thrilled by the reception he got despite the heavy rainfall, Chief Aderinokun thanked the community and religious leaders present at the Eid prayer and he promised to assist in renovating the central mosque that is leaking in some areas.

The Hausa community in Agbado led by Seriki Umar Aliyu Umar were pleased to host the Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom after benefitting from his 2000 foodstuff package for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and they assured him of their unflinching support.

Chief Aderinokun later paid homage to the Alagbado of Agbado, where HRM Oba Adebayo Ishola Shyllon expressed delight to host “a good ambassador of Ogun State” in his palace and he highlighted some challenges the Agbado community are facing aside the apparently bad roads.
