Egboro Day, 5th Coronation Anniversary: Owaloko Commends Agunsoye On Productive Reign

The Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, Oba (Dr.) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa has commended the paramount ruler of Ijebu-Ijesa Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Engr. Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye Abikehin Ekun Agunsoye II on his 5th Coronation Anniversary.

Owaloko issued the congratulatory message earlier today in Iloko-Ijesa via a statement he personally signed, Owaloko expressed his happiness towards Ijebu-Ijesa monarch, stressing that he is happy to felicitate with Agunsoye! on his 5th Coronation Anniversary marked with unprecedented level of progress in the Kingdom.

While extolling the leadership qualities of the traditional ruler, Owaloko maintained that the ascension of Oba Agunsoye II into the highly coveted royal throne of Ijebu-Ijesa Kingdom has been one form of blessing to the other.

In the same vein, Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa HRM Oba (Dr) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe the Ajagbusi Ekun VI, led over 15 Ijesa North Obas to Ijebu-Ijesa for this year’s edition of Egbòrò day Festival.

While congratulating the people of Ijebu-Ijesa and the monarch, Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, Oba (Dr) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, prayed for peace in the town.

Owaloko commended the Elegboro for the wonderful event, “As you can see, all the sons and daughters of Egboroland from far and near are rejoicing, it is like a homecoming where they come together to celebrate the ingenuity of people of Ijebu-Ijesa. The first-class traditional ruler also used the opportunity to appeal to youths to desist from drug abuse and other social vices.
