EFCC Arrests 44 Internet Fraud Suspects in Kwara

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained 44 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Kwara State.

The arrests were carried out on Friday, September 6, 2024, across various locations in Ilorin, including Sango, Kulende, Taxaco, and Harmony Estate.

These actions followed credible intelligence regarding their alleged involvement in online criminal activities.

During the operation, the EFCC seized six different brands of luxury vehicles, along with laptops, smartphones, and charms.

The detained suspects are expected to face charges in court once the investigations are completed.
