Eddy Aina Chairs National Primary School Debate Panel

The General Manager, SweetFM Abeokuta, Mr. Eddy Aina has been appointed Chairman, Panel of Judges of a National Primary School Debate organised by Tripod Media Company Limited in collaboration with the Professor Abayomi Oluwatosin Jiboku Foundation (AOJF).

The inauguration which was held virtually was attended by stakeholders in media and education, among whom are top management of the sponsors, Taidob College Asero Estate Abeokuta including the Principal, Mrs. Hope Jiboku and Directors, Obawunmi and Idowu Jiboku as well as Mrs. Taiwo Emmanuel.

According to AOJF Director, Engr. Idowu Jiboku, the debate is to mark 70th Posthumuos Birthday of the CEO and Founder of Taidob Group of Schools, Prof Abayomi Jiboku who he described as a strong supporter of education in his lifetime, hence the partnership with Tripod Media Company to further build on his legacies.

Director Taidob College, Mr. Obawunmi Jiboku added that the competition, which is open to Basic Five and Six pupils in public and private schools across Nigeria, has 70 prizes to be won including full scholarship, free tuition and partial scholarship from JS1 to SS3 in the school, among other educational materials.

 

Describing the Online Debate as a laudable initiative, the Chairman Panel of Judges, Mr Eddy Aina affirmed the commitment of the team to be fair to all contestants, advising participants to play by the rules.
