The President and Founder of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, Alhaji Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, JP., has felicitated Christians in the state and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
Asiwaju Wahab urged Christians to imbibe the teachings, lessons of love and sacrificial living of Jesus Christ.
In an Easter message signed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Adejola Adeyemi Crown, Asiwaju Wahab urged Christians to use the important period to show love, unity, renewal of hope and to ensure peaceful co-existence as Jesus Christ taught the world through his death and resurrection.
Asiwaju Wahab said, “I enjoin all our Christian brothers and sisters to imbibe the teachings, lessons of love and sacrificial living of Jesus Christ during this year’s Easter celebration and after*.
“I enjoin Christians to allow the teachings and exemplary life led by jesus christ our Lord to be reflected in their daily lives as we all know that crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His ressurection is for the good of all Christians and that Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope renewal and new life*.
“I wish all our Christian brothers and sisters happy Easter and may the beautiful Easter day live in our hearts and mind forever”, he added.
