“Don’t give in to Peer Pressure” – Kola Daisi University VC Charges students

The Vice Chancellor of Kola Daisi University, Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun has advised Nigerian teenagers not to succumb to peer pressure.

The VC, who was speaking as Chairman at the Taidob College 23rd Graduation and Prize-Giving Ceremony, eulogised the School for its high moral standards and discipline over the years.

Similarly, Oba Olufemi Adewunmi Ogunleye, Towulade Akinale of Owu Kingdom at the occasion commended the efforts of the management in sustaining the legacies of its Founder, Prof.Abayomi Jiboku.

Earlier, a former Acting Vice Chancellor of FUNNAB, Prof. Ololade Enikuomehin of the Rock Foundation Church who was the Guest Minister at a short valedictory service harped on…..

The Principal, Chief (Mrs.) Hope Jiboku said the College would sustain provision of 21st century facilities and conducive learning environment. According to her, the UTME of 343 by a student the College was an attestation to the quality education provided by the School.

The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu who was represented by the Director, Secondary Schools Education Department, Mr. Erinle Olanrewaju Adisa applauded the Management for providing State of the Art Facilities, charging them not to relent in their efforts.

Meanwhile, the College conferred Excellence in Education Award on Prof. Oyelade Olutunji, HRM OBA Olufemi Ogunleye – The Towulade Akinale of Owu Kingdom, Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu and Prof. Ololade Enikuomehin.

Other awardees include Engineer and Mrs Olayiwola Eshinlokun, The Majekodunmi Foundation, Mr and Mrs Adisa and Mr. Jim Obazee.

The 2020 and 2021 Best Graduating Students, Falayi Daniel and Akintola Aliyah who had (9A) and (8A) respectively were also awarded.

A parent, Mr. Jim Obaze used the occasion to introduce the Neot Obazee Award for the Best Teaching and Non Teaching Staff where Mr. Afeez Bakare won the Best Teaching Staff and Mr Taiwo Akinyola, The Hostel master won the Best Non-Teaching Staff with the cash awards of N300,000 and N200,000 respectively.
