Delta CP presents N47.8M cheques to families of slain policemen

The welfare of both serving and late officers of the Nigerian police is part of the primary interest of the inspector general of police Kayode Egbetokun.

These were the words of the Delta state police commissioner CP Abaniwonda Olufemi while presenting cheques worth over forty seven million naira to twenty two families of deceased officers who died while in active service.

Flanked by the Deputy Commissioner of police Administration Tokunbo Afolabi while presenting the cheques to the beneficiaries, the Delta CP reiterates the commitment by the inspector general of police, which according to him will serve as a boost to the families and also letting them know that the force did not forget them for their selfless service to their fatherland. Some of the beneficiaries thanked the IGP for the gesture.
