Declare Emergency On Lagos Roads, Assembly Tells Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State House of Assembly has asked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to declare a state of emergency on roads in the state.

The lawmakers who resolved to invite officials of government in relation to the poor state of roads across the state, expressed concern over the significant time commuters spent on the roads, resulting in inconveniences.

Those invited include the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Adeyinka Lukmon; the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and the head and related officials of the Public Works Corporation (PWC).
