…Calls Him ‘Person of Interest’
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has confirmed the arrest of popular cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border while attempting to leave the country.
In a statement, the Service Public Relations Officer (SPRO), Deputy Comptroller of Immigration (DCI) Kenneth Udo, disclosed that Bobrisky is a “person of interest” in connection to certain ongoing matters.
“In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country,” Udo revealed.
He further explained that the cross-dresser is currently undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
“The Service wishes to inform the public that Okuneye Idris is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern. He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate Authorities for further action,” Udo added.
The NIS assured the public of its dedication to professionalism in carrying out its duties. “The Service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the Country’s Borders,” the SPRO stated.
