Crime Commission Boss, Bawa Tasks Community – Based Organisations on Whistle – Blowing

Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, has called on Community-Based Organisations, CBOs, across the country to rise more vigorously to the imperatives of whistle-blowing by volunteering information about cases of economic and financial crimes in their neighbourhood.

Bawa who spoke through the Director, Public Affairs of the Commission, Osita Nwajah, made the call in Ilorin, Kwara State on Thursday, June 16, 2022, while presenting a paper on overcoming the challenges of whistle blowing and anti-corruption at a One-Day Stakeholders’ Town Hall meeting organized by the African Centre for Media and Information Literacy, AFRICMIL.
