COVID-19: Social distancing is our strongest weapon to survive the pandemic–Jimi Agbaje

The 2015 PDP’s Lagos State Governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, In his reaction to suspending lockdown by some state governors for the Easter celebration and Juma’at service, said through his verified twiter handle that the decision made by some state governors to pause social distancing advisory for Easter and juma’at will be counter productive and could reverse the gains achieved so far in curtail the pandemic viruses.

Why the pause this time when the cases are on the increase with more state been affected, adding that we are in the stage of community infection which is the most dangerous stage.

Jimi, who pleaded with the state governors who wishes to pause social distance in their state, to reverse the decision and reinforce the stay at home order, adding that the virus won’t go for break, or exclude churches and mosques.

“I plead that they reverse the decision & reinforce the stay at home. Coronavirus will not go on break, or avoid mosques and churches”

He conclude, “With our weak health system, social distancing is our strongest weapon to survive the pandemic”.
