It was a day of succour and joy for Parents and Learners of Apex Group of Schools, Sabo, Olororo, Sagamu, Ogun State as they received relief packages from the school management, to cushion the effects of COVID-19 lockdown.
The distribution of different foodstuffs including noodles which was performed at the school premises had mainly the Parents as beneficiaries.
Expressing deep appreciation to the man at the helm of affairs in the school, Prince Adesanya Oduala for the kind gesture at a period the country is battling the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the parents eulogized the school, saying apart from daily health tips and educational materials sent to them via social media, the relief packages would go a long way to meet their needs.
Some of the beneficiaries including Mrs. Aliu Abdullah, Mrs. Malami Dogo, Mr. Hammed Tijani and Princess Mercy Oroetan, thanked the Proprietor who they said always puts the welfare and interest of the learners at heart, praying that God will further uplift the school.
In an interview, the Proprietor, Prince Adesanya Oduala affirmed the commitment of Apex Group of Schools, Sabo Sagamu to the overall development of every child, especially at a time they had to go on break due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The relief materials, according to the Prince Oduala were meant for one of the basic needs of children at this period of stay-at-home order imposed by the government.
While advising the parents to comply with the measures put in place by the government and relevant health officials, Prince Oduala said the school won’t renege in playing its roles.
