Community Safety: Ogun Police Share Direct Contact Information for Area Commanders, DPOs

The Ogun State Police Command has issued updated contact information for the Head of the Police Department, encouraging members of the public to use various channels to engage with their officers.

The aim is to foster meaningful interactions between the community and the police force.

As the year draws to a close, there is often a noticeable rise in crime and violence. To address this anticipated surge, the Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha, has instructed that the directory of Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and their supervising Area Commanders be made publicly accessible.

This will enable citizens to collaborate with the police by sharing relevant information that can help maintain public safety.

Parents are also advised to conduct security discussions at home, emphasizing the importance of knowing local police contact details. They are encouraged to educate their children on how to report any suspicious activity, no matter how minor, to help in crime prevention efforts.
