Christians have been admonished to give thanks in regardless of the accolades of their challenges, noting that each day on earth is a gift to do wonders and to enjoy God’s unlimited grace.
The Assembly Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, English Assembly, (Home of Champions), Isale Ake Abeokuta, Pastor Ayo Oduronbi, gave this charge this Sunday to commemorate the Church 5th year Anniversary thanksgiving with the theme: “Rejoicing In Grace”, held within the church auditorium in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Pastor Oduronbi in his anniversary sermon titled, “rejoicing in grace” taken from Psalm 118 vs 15, said the only key for going far in life is to always rejoice in God’s grace.
He said, “rejoicing in grace is not a state of arrival, but a state of no challenges. Rather, a state of appreciation for where grace has brought you, with a mind of leveraging on it to go far in life”.
“When you cannot explain your success story, then it’s grace at work. But, when you can give accurate explanation of how you became who you are, then it’s all about you and your labour”.
“According to Proverb 14 vs 24, he said while labour is good, Christians must know that only labour backed by grace results in success and testimonies “.
He however urged christians to be better version of themselves, adding that manifestation is tied to grace and believers must learn to maximize it.
Meanwhile, the anniversary service also featured ministrations, choreography, award presentation, among others.
