Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke who is a World – Renowned Evangelist and the Founder of Christ For All Nations (CFAN) Ministries has his last public Crusade on Wednesday 8th November to Sunday 12th November, 2017 in Lagos State, Nigeria tagged: “Reinhard Bonnke’s Farewell Gospel Crusade and Passing The Burning Torch Conference in Africa”.
The Crusade which witnessed the transfer of CFAN Burning Torch to Evangelist Daniel Kolende as Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s successor.
The Crusade which had in attendance over 500, 000 counsellors, 200, 000 intercessors, a Choir of over 23, 000 and security Force of over 10,000 with a minimum of 6 million worshippers in attendance which made it the organization’s largest gathering till date putting into consideration the robust high-tech arrangement, preparations, Publicity and Planning to achieve such a massive Crowd.
At a time when Christ For All Nations Crusade hit Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital in the year 2012 after returning to Nigeria for the first time in it’s 17 years World Wide Crusade tour recorded over 1,936,881 worshippers and Followers of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke that graced the power packed City Crusade.
It was observed that prior to the staging of the 2012 Crusade, top notch preparations, planning, Publicity etc had been put in place as lots of machineries were adopted to ensure a more befitting and epoch making Crusade in a outing which was held at MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State as worshippers thronged into the Stadium meant to accommodate about 35,000 were crammed by millions of worshippers.
Consequently, in less than 3 weeks to the Christ For All Nation slated for November is believed to have Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke and Evangelist Daniel Kolende in attendance has so far witnessed no or low evidence of publicity and media awareness as Crusade posters, bill Board were seen in it’s scanty manners across strategic locations within the Abeokuta metropolis compared to the previous crusade held in Abeokuta, Ogun State and Lagos State respectively.
Therefore, the question left in the mouth begging for answer is the level of ongoing poor preparations, planning, publicity and considering already assigned Committees and budget put in place to cater for a life changing crusade as it has always done for decades. Can CFAN Crusade gather up to 1 million worshippers compared to decades of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke before his retirement in 2017?
