In a press statement signed by the Initiator of BOILING POINT, Mr Ayo Arowojolu, he said the foremost traditional ruler has been making very significant impact in the unification of the Yoruba race especially in forging harmonious co-existence with brother Obas within his vicinity since his ascension to the throne in August last year.

Mr Arowojolu hailed the Kabiyesi for using his position to promote peace among the various ethnic nationalities in the country as well as working with relevant stakeholders and institutions to advance the socio-economic development of the people.

Describing Oba Matemilola as a vibrant, visionary and progressive monarch, Arowojolu noted that the Olowu has always been in the forefront of the quest for lifting up his teeming subjects out of the poverty trap particularly with his focus on education and health sector.

He said further that the Olowu has used his God-given resources as a philanthropist to contribute to the wellbeing of the teeming youths in his domain through sports development and enhancement of qualitative education especially in the area of project sponsorship and provision of platforms for them to showcase their in-born talents.

He prayed God to grant the Kabiyesi long life, good health and a peaceful and purposeful reign to continue to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The eminent traditional ruler is a member of BOILING POINT, an online platform for informed viewpoints and perspectives on governance and national development and he is, in fact, the Chairman, Board of Royals and Elders of the Group comprising several prominent Nigerians including over 200 professors across the country.
