The newly elected All Progressives Congress, APC, ward leaders have been advised to regard the position as a call to duty which requires utmost sense of responsibility on their parts.
The Ogun state Deputy Governor Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele gave the advice this Saturday at Otta ward three, where she took part in the ongoing party Congress across the state.
While Informing the new ward leaders that they are now to be the link between the Party’s Apex body and faithfuls at the grassroot, she urged them to spread its message across board for better performance during elections.
Engr Salako-Oyedele admonished the party representatives to continue to support the leadership at the state and national levels in ensuring good governance.
Speaking on the conduct of the Congress in her ward, the Deputy Governor said the exercise in Otta ward three was hitch free and all inclusive as the APC members unanimously agreed to the choice the executive members of the party at the ward which has 76 polling units.
