The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye has informed all RCCG pastors to get ready as they would experience a lot of naming ceremonies in the coming year as a result of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic currently affecting humanity.
Pastor Adeboye made this known in his Sunday sermon aired on Dove TV monitored by Tropic Reporters Correspondenot with the title “All Things Work Together For The Good.”
The cleric who read from Psalm 109:71, Rom 8:28, John 11:37-45, Mark 10:46:52, 1 king 17 vrs 17-24 and 2 Sam 23:8:39 said the world in no long time would be free from Covid-19 and its associated effects.
Pastor Adeboye said all things worked together for a purpose and everyone should be ready to identify the good even as the pandemic is wrecking havock globally.
Pastor Adeboye while addressing his congregation in a telecast narrated the story of Joshua’s imprisonment and how he was miraculously rescued from the situation he found himself.
He also encouraged everyone to maintain clean environment, light-up their environments and maintain good personal hygiene to curb the spread of the pandemic.
He assured congregation that all things would work out for the good and urged Christians across the world to be steadfast in dealing with God as those that love God and seek him early would be saved from the ravaging pandemic.
He beseeched the body of Christ not to relent in praying for their pastors and those in authority as the scripture commanded, he also quoted from the the book of 1 Tes. 5:25 and 2Tes. 3vs1.
Pastor Adeboye said, ” I’m busy now, but you pastors are resting, very soon , I’ll be resting while you work”
“There will be multiples of naming ceremonies for you to attend to early next year, due to coronavirus lockdown” he said.
“These are 10 things for you to do during this lockdown,
Rejoice, Praise God, Pray to God, Study the word, Meditate, Receive Vision, Plan on your vision , Clean Up your house, Lighten your House and Pray for me.” He concluded.
