The head of lectures Mrs. Caroline Adenle has enlightened the 2019 NYSC Batch B stream II Corps Members deployed to the state of OSUN on the need relevance of the Yoruba language in the Yoruba land. She gave this enlightenment during a lecture held at the camp’s auditorium in Ede, on Wednesday, 28th August 2019.
During the session, the speaker conducted a brief language training exercise with the Corp members while educating them that as Corps members serving in the state of OSUN, it was pertinent for them to be fully acquainted with the Yoruba language. As According to her everyone should be able to learn the indigenous language of any society one finds his or her self.
Further speaking she highlighted some major benefits relating to her topic of discourse.
She concluded by stating that language has a major role to play in the development of the individual and the nation at larger and therefore charged the Corps members to submit themselves to learning.
