Bauchi State Governor Appoints New Emir of Ningi

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has approved the appointment of Haruna Danyaya as the 17th Emir of Ningi, elevating him to a first-class traditional ruler.

The announcement was made on Sunday through a letter signed by the Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Ibrahim Kashim.

Governor Mohammed expressed confidence in the new Emir’s ability to uphold and advance the legacy of his late father. He stated, “We believe that Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Danyaya will continue the noble work of his predecessor in fostering unity, peace, and development in the Ningi Emirate and throughout Bauchi State.”

The governor also offered his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the former Emir and extended warm congratulations to the new Emir.

With this appointment, Haruna Danyaya takes on the responsibility of leading the Ningi Emirate, building on the legacy of his predecessor and working towards the development and prosperity of the emirate and the state.
