…dedicates honour to Ooni of Ife
King’s Ambassador, Barrister Habeeb Whyte has been appointed as the 66th ECOWAS Youth Ambassador.
This appointment was contained in a letter dated Tuesday 19th January, 2021, signed by the President of ECOWAS West Africa Youth Council, Amb. Emmanuel S. Williams and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent today.
Tropic Reporters reports that the appointment came exactly a year after Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, appointed the Ogun State Born young barrister as an Ambassador of the Royal Court of Ife.
The letter reads in parts, “I am pleased to confirm that the board of the West African (Ecowas) Youth Council on the recommendation of her young people has appointed you as an” ECOWAS YOUTH AMBASSADOR”.
“This appointment is not unconnected with your laudable antecedent of dedication, hard work and diligence in the area of service to humanity and your commendable works as an advocate and relentless crusader of promoting entrepreneurship for African youths”.
On his part, Amb. Emmanuel while presenting the letter to Barrister Whyte says,
“We have deem it fit to honor you as one of our youth ambassadors with our youth council diplomatic plate number with certifcate”
“And we did it for the likes of Prince Eletu, Seyi Tinubu, Linda Ikeji, Emmanuel Paddy, Mr Scribes Raymond, 2baba, Ikeahke Moses, Ubi Franklin, Sowemimo Abilene, Rubson Ayobami and so many young people, he added.
“We have designed this for young people who are change makers and doing so well in their field of life” he concluded.
While reacting to the honour, Barrister Whyte thereafter dedicated the appointment to Ooni of Ife, His Royal Highness Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja1) and also appericiated all those behind the appointment.
