The President of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, Alhaji (Asiwaju) Dapo Wahab, has felicitated with Nigerian children as they join their counterparts all over the world to commemorate the 2023 Children’s Day.
Asiwaju Dapo Wahab in a goodwill message signed by his Director on Media and Publicity, Adejola Adeyemi Crown in Abeokuta, described children as the hope of the nation, called on them to look forward to a brighter future and be committed to their education.
Asiwaju Dapo Wahab noted that it is very imperative for parents, community leaders, teachers and all involved in children upbringing to take mentoring seriously and provide good leadership to them.
“I felicitate with Nigerian children as they join their counterparts all over the world to commemorate year 2023 children’s day”.
“This is another opportunity to reawaken our consciousness of the need to give priority to the education, welfare and upbringing of the children in respective of their race, skin, colour and health challenges”.
He reiterated that his foundation will continue to take measures that will give support to less privileged children, as education is the best weapon of preparing children for leadership and resultant peaceful and prosperous society.
Asiwaju Dapo Wahab also tasked parents and guardians to be vigilant on their children in view of the happenings in the society, where some unscrupulous elements take advantage to spoil their future.
“I am assuring of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation:s readiness to give support to indigent children, as well as less privileged ones to have access to qualitative education through our organization’s support for a secured future”.
“I am also calling on parents, teachers, community leaders and religious leaders to be vigilant on children following the numerous anti – children happenings in the society and activities of unscrupulous elements bent at destroying the good future of the children”, he added.
