Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, Adelani, Others Bag Metro Club Humanitarian Award

The Chief Executive Officer of Sparkle Cheery Int’l Consultancy Services and Chairman of Ifedara Opeji Area CDC, Alhaji (Asiwaju) Dapo Wahab, Mr. Ayobami Akanji Adelani of IAS Unique Homes and Property, others have received humanitarian Excellence Award.

Tropic Reporters reports that the award was given by Metro Elite Club of Egba Land in recognition of their selfless humanitarian service to Egba Land at the Club’s 2nd year anniversary held on Saturday at Mawuko, Odeda LG Area of Ogun State.

In a statement by the Chairman of Metro Elite Club, Engr. Steven Alao said the club decided to celebrate distinguished personalities and corporate organizations that have contributed to the development of mankind and Community.

According to him, Metro Elite Club of Egba Land which was inaugurated with seven (7) members in August 2019, today have about 15 active members who have been donating and attending to many Community needs and function around Mawuko and it’s environs.

He said, “some of our members are Police Officers, Road Safety Officers, Engineers, Foresters, Traditional Chiefs, CDC Chairman, Artisans, Politicians and a host of others”.

“Our award is not so cheap, we nominated some philanthropists who we believed have in one way or the other affected the people of the community or Egba Land as a whole”, he added.

On his part, Asiwaju Dapo Wahab in his good will message charged members of the club to continue in the good and commendable jobs they have been doing.

He noted that humanitarian becomes important because of the active believe in the value to human life whereby human practices benevolent treatment, provides assistance to better humanity for moral, altruistic and logical reasons.

The event also witnessed presentation of Local Government Certificate of registration to Metro Elite Club of Egba Land, Presentation of Certificate of returns to Executives as well as launching of N5 million club house.

Other recipients of the award include, Engr. Adeoye Adekunle (Chairman, Opeji Area CDC), Chief Wasiu Kosebinu Ogunbanke (Baale of Mawuko Land), Chief Jimoh Lateef (Seriki of Eruwon land and Bada of Ibara Land), DSP Durojaye Olurotimi (DPO, Bode Olude Divisional Police Headquarter), Mr. Victor Eniola Mark (CEO of Omoluwabi Splash Estate) among others.
