My attention has been drawn to a petition written by one Abayomi Arabambi who claims to be the Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), South-West asking the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate my involvement in a diversion of funds at the Federal Medical Centre(FMC), Abeokuta.
I wouldn’t have replied or say a word to the unfounded allegations raised by someone like Arabambi, but at times it is always good to attend to a “dog” to stop its barking, because not everybody will understand that it is normal, some will see it as just madness.
I am not surprised that this petition is coming from someone like Arabambi, we know his antecedents in Ogun state and his kind of personality is nothing but a questionable one. He has over the years depended on the use of propaganda and cheap blackmail to either scavenge for monetary reward or relevance.
Or what do you say of a man who was at the forefront of attacking the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, only to change all of a sudden and become a praise singer and then months later begin to criticise again.
What do you say of a man who lost election due to alleged manipulation and the only thing he could do is to organize a press conference calling the election free and fair.
What do you say of a man who was at edge of destroying the political career of late Buruji Kashamu, only to become one of his boys all of a sudden.
He was Labour Party chairman but always fraternising with leaders of the top parties in the state, that one would wonder what party he was precisely.
We all know who Arabambi is and even the people of Ogun state know the kind of person he is.
It is not a surprise to me that Arabambi has once again prove to the world who he is really is by writing such worthless, unfounded and baseless petition. I know he is only playing to the tunes of his pay master and seeing his name on it is not surprising to me.
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT
It is not a surprise that this cheap blackmail is coming at this time, I already know this will happen. However, I need to let the world know that it is just a blackmail and an attempt to soil my good name, I was never involved in any shady deals and I will never be involved in any shady deals in FMC, Abeokuta.
Since I joined FMC, I do my job diligently, I don’t get involved in their dirty politics, hence, they should not drag me into it.
I am the immediate past Public Relation Officer for both SSAUTHRIAI and JOHESU, I maintained my silence because I didn’t want to join those Union leaders that have turned themselves to political bandits and contractors in the centre.
However, the mischief makers are judging my silence with my past activities in the union, unknown to them that I have moved on.
I challenge Arabambi and his cohorts to provide evidence of where I was involved in any diversion of fund or shady deals in the centre. I want Arabambi and his pay masters to come with concrete evidence to show me my sins or we will meet in court to fight for my good name that I have been protecting for years.
I will not allow anybody drag my name in the mud and expect me to be silent. I am not like Arabambi, I have integrity and I am ready to protect that my name with the last drop of blood in me.
The current Medical Director has set up a panel to indict me and I told them point blank that I am not part of aggrieved members. If they have any things against me, let them come out with evidence.
Nobody can stop me from greeting top mgt. staff in the centre, I am a free man, and my loyalty is not with anyone.
I know how some loyalist of Prof Musa are trying to attack and humiliate me. This is not coming as a surprise to me because few weeks ago, Prof Musa was in my department to humiliate me, but he met my absence.
I will advise all the detractors to concentrate on other things because they cannot get anything against me and I am who I am, I will not pretend to be someone else no matter what!!
My last advice for Arabambi is to leave me out of his baseless allegation or I will not take it lightly with him. I protect my name jealously, I am not like him who does not care about good name, but personal gain. I will not allow him drag the name my parents have protected to the mud. We know his story, we know who he is, he should focus on defending the government like he has always done, I am not like him, he need to beware.
