In a celebration of faith, family, and legacy, members of Victory Life Bible Church International, friends, associates, and the Adesina and Achudume families gathered on Sunday at Life Cathedral, Victory City, Abeokuta, for a heartfelt thanksgiving service to wrap up farewell activities for the indefatigable Reverend Fola Achudume, a woman of God whose impact will be etched in the hearts of many for eternity.

At the service, Apostle Achudume led the congregation in a spirit-filled celebration of his wife’s life, urging everyone to follow God’s path and trust in His faithfulness. The church was filled with an atmosphere of reflection and gratitude as worshippers and well-wishers gave thanks for Reverend Fola’s life, whose impact on her family, church, and community will be felt for generations to come.

Apostle Achudume spoke with deep emotion, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their support during the period of loss. “God chooses who to make alive or not,” he declared. “It’s not our business what God does; we should just follow Him and trust in His faithfulness.” He emphasized that following God is the key to living a good life and achieving greatness, urging congregants to stay rooted in faith, just as Reverend Fola had done.

The VLBC INT’L lead Pastor assured all that his spouse’s legacies of faith and service would live on, reminding everyone that with God, their story will always end in glory. He encouraged the congregation to live impactful lives, just as Reverend Fola had done, and to continue her work by spreading God’s love and grace to all.

On his part, Dr. Ola-Vincent Odulele of Basic Trust International issued a heartfelt exhortation, urging the congregation to ‘Serve God with wholehearted devotion, leveraging your resources to expand His kingdom, for He is the rock of ages, the unchangeable changer who never fails!’

The service featured moments of joyful worship, with the church’s choristers and guest artists leading the congregation in praise and thanksgiving. The popular Ayan Jesu traditional praise team uplifted hearts with their melodious tunes, while Lilian Nneji’s passionate ministration stirred the crowd, leading them into an atmosphere of reverence and celebration. With songs of gratitude filling the air and hands lifted in praise, the church danced in celebration of Reverend Fola’s life, believing that she now rejoices in her eternal home.

As the service drew to a close, the congregation raised their hands in holy surrender, singing “We Give You All the Glory” with hearts full of gratitude and praise. In that moment, they declared God’s sovereignty and faithfulness, acknowledging Him as the source of all glory and honor.
