The All Progressives Congress, (South West), in the United Kingdom has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his final victory at the Presidential Election Tribunal as the tribunal this Wednesday ruled in his favor, declaring that the petitioners can not prove its case beyond reasonae doubt, thereby upholding his victory at the Presidential election held on February, 23rd 2019.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Andrew Adetokunbo Taiwo. Secretary APC ( South West) U.K. and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent.
The group described the ruling after a long haul of legal battle and hearing as a confirmation of the people’s will freely exercised at the poll across the country , saying the end of the legal battle will allow the President and his team concentrate on the act of governance with a view to better the lots of the masses.
The group also congratulated the newly sworn-in Ministers in3 different portfolios as well as APC Governors in the South Western states of Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, and Ondo under the platform of the party for their successful emergence as the new men in the helms of affairs to actualize the agenda of the party in this new dispensation of the second term of president Muhammadu Buhari and Vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s administration.
A statement by the Secretary of the APC, South-West, United Kingdom, Mr. Andrew Adetokunbo Taiwo reads “We members of APC Southwest in the United Kingdom congratulates our Governors in the southwestern states in Nigeria for their victory at the polls and wish them a successful tenure”.
The statement reads in part “Also we extend our courtesy to the newly inaugurated ministers from the South Western parts of Nigeria; we are confident that they will do us proud and never disappoint us.”
It charged the Governors to work as a team so as to bring development to their states, share ideas and improve the wellbeing of their people
The group through its Secretary also states their unalloyed support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and all its programmes and aspirations for the country which are gradually manifesting, development they are sure will take Nigeria to the next level.
The All progressive, South West United Kingdom comprise of a large number of progressive minded individuals who have been blazing the trail in hoisting the flag of the party in the United Kingdom.
