The former governor of Ogun State and the current Senator representing Ogun Central Senator Ibikunle Amosun has sympathized with the victims of the multiple accidents resulting from the tanker explosion which occurred in the early hours of Thursday 20th October around the Sagamu Interchange area of Ogun State.
Amosun made this known in a statement signed by Bola Adeyemi, and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent in Abeokuta on Thursday.
He said, “Many lives were lost due to the inferno and several victims rushed to the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu”.
“The Senator while expressing his condolences to the many families who lost their loved ones in the very sad and unfortunate occurrence, urge and pray to Almighty God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
“Senator Amosun however pleads with all road users to obey Traffic rules and regulations especially speed limits which are vital preventive measures to safeguard against road accidents”, he added.
