The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has restored power supply to affected Abeokuta communities.

A source within one of the affected communities confirmed to our correspondent that IBEDC restored the power supply to the concerned communities in the early hours of today, Tuesday 12th July, 2022.

“Power supply was restored to my area some minutes past 12 this morning. This will finally ease the stress residents pass through since power supply was cut off from the area since May”, he stated.

Meanwhile, this development has brought an end to the two months prolonged power outage at Saje, Itoko, Arinlese, Elega communities among others in Abeokuta, the Ogun State communities.

Recall that Tropic Reporters yesterday reported that some residents and business owners at the affected communities lamented the over two months power outage that has crippled both domestic and business activities.
