Adeleke stated this recently during a working visit to OSBC, where he promised to bring the corporation back to life.

The Governor however blamed the management of OSBC for the poor state in which the broadcast house is in.

He therefore noted that though the management has been part of the rot, his administration will not tolerate any form of corruption.

“This is a new era. This administration will not tolerate corruption, lack of innovation and analogue mentality going forward”, Adeleke said.

He charged them to sit up and embrace new ideas, new age practices in running the stations.

“I challenge you to embrace private sector practices in programming and marketing. This is the path to long term survival of the stations.”

Governor Adeleke equally charged the management of OSBC to increase its IGR drive, block all loopholes in the marketing and finance departments and ensure OSBC is back on the right path of financial independence.

Adeleke said he has upgraded the leadership status of the corporation, promising staff welfare and manpower development.

Senator Adeleke also promised urgent intervention in purchase of broadcasting equipment.

Speaking on the 66 freelancers waiting to be absorbed into the state workforce, Adeleke assured them of accelerated actions.
