One of the 22 Sworn in Special Advisers in Ogun State, Hon. Kayode Akinmade has assured the media practitioners in the state that the second term Administration of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun will not underrate the media and promised to bridge the gap between the media and the government.
Akinmade made this assurance on Friday at the Swearing in ceremony held at Oba’s Complex, Oke-mosan Abeokuta, the state capital.
Akinmade, while expressing his appreciation to the state governor, he assured him to do all his possible best to up to the expectation.
He noted the importance of the media and guaranteed them of having access to the needed informations about the government.
He promised to create a robust relationship between the government and the media.
“I want to express my big appreciation to the governor of ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for finding me worthy for this appointment. And i want to assure him that i will do my very best to up to expectation.
“As we all know the significance of media in the society and also important for the media to report government activities and i will ensure that media occupy the greater stage in this government.
“I will make sure that all information the media demand would be made available to media at all time. I will ensure that we bridge the gap between the media and the government.
“The media are part of growth and development in Nation building and we will also take them like that in this government. We will ensure that their interest are well protected, cater for and ensure we create an enabling environment for them to operate
