Abiodun Set to Receive 2023 Silverbird ‘Man of the Year’ Award on Sunday

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, is poised to accept the prestigious 2023 Silverbird ‘Man of the Year’ award on Sunday, March 3.

Emerging victorious in a tight competition against four nominees, Prince Abiodun secured over 70% of the votes, as confirmed by Jacob Akinyemi-Johnson, Chief Creative Officer/Chairman Editorial Board of Silverbird Group.

The official award presentation ceremony is scheduled for March 3rd, 2024, at 6 pm at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Having been nominated for his substantial contributions to the progress of Nigerian society, Prince Abiodun’s exemplary projects and schemes have earned him accolades, with the winner decided through votes from Nigerians via SMS, WhatsApp, and online platforms. The announcement of the winner took place on January 1, 2024.

In a remarkable streak, Prince Abiodun recently received the 2023 Sun Newspapers ‘Governor of the Year’ award and the Forbes Best of Africa award for industrial revolution. His commitment to excellence has been recognized with several other honors, including the LEADERSHIP Governor of the Year Award 2022 and the Vanguard’s Governor of the Year Award 2021.
