Abiodun Expresses Dissatisfaction Over Level Of Work Done On Sango-Ota Road

The governor of ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun has expressed dissatisfaction over the level of work done on Sango-Ota toll gate road in Ado-odo Ota Local Government by the contractor handling the project.

The Governor who made this expression on Sunday when he was on inspection to the road said the contractor has failed to expedite action on the directive given by the government stating that the road from Sango-Ota tollgate down to Singer along lagos-abeokuta expressway would be well reconstructed and lay with asphalt to enhance people’s movement within the axis.

While describing the road as important to the state due to its commercial value, governor Abiodun noted that government ascribed much emphasis to the local government as it housed large number of industries in the country.

According to family fm reporter Bose Akintunde, the governor while expressed worry over the deplorable condition of the road said he has made frantic efforts to call the attention of the federal government towards the reconstruction of the road without any positive results, therefore promised that his administration would continue to work for betterment of people in the state.

The Governor while informed that he has directed the chairmen of Community Development associations CDAs and community development committees, CDCs to compile the list of communities within the local government that suffers from epileptic power supply as government is ready to provide fifteen transformers for them to solve the problem

He advised the youths within the axis to register at their polling unit in order to benefit from the empowerment programs lined up to assist them stating that a minimum of ten youths would be picked from each polling unit.
