The Abia State COVID -19 relief fund is richer by N5 million donated by the state’s executive council.

Commissioner for Information John Okiyi-Kalu said the fund was in support of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s efforts to reach more vulnerable persons with food supplies, protective materials and cash during the lockdown.

The executive council members who made the donation include Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu, Secretary to the State Government Chris Ezem, and commissioners, among others.
