Abayomi Joboku Foundation, a nongovernmental organisation established in 2012 to cater for the needs of academically promising but financially handicapped students has opened scholarship Platform for primary school pupils in Ogun State.
Tropic Reporters gathered that over 500 public primary school pupils across the 20 Local Government Areas wrote the first stage examination organised by Professor Abayomi Oluwatosin Jiboku Foundation (PAOF) to win full secondary school scholarships.
Conducted and supervised by trained personnel, the examination which is free-of-charge at all stages, was held simultaneously in five centres across the State and questions drawn from Mathematics, English language and Basic Science.
The NGO advised all candidates to check its website www.paojf.org on Friday 13th August, 2021 for a list of those transiting to the second and final stage.
Professor Abayomi Oluwatosin Jiboku Foundation says beneficiaries would be known as “The Lucky Champs 2021” and nurtured morally and academically, throughout their secondary school education.
One of Ogun State foremost educationists and Egba high chief, Prof. Abayomi Jiboku, established the NGO in 2012 to cater for the needs of academically promising but financially handicapped students, among other objectives, at all levels of education.
PAOJF, according to it’s Administrator, would maintain its zero tolerance for examination malpractice throughout the exercise and jealously guard the standard and quality education which the late Founder of Taidob College, Asero Estate Abeokuta was known for.
