2020 NATIONAL JETS COMPETITION: AMINAT INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE ABEOKUTA WINS LAURELS FOR OGUN STATE

Ogun State has clinched the first position at the just concluded National Junior Engineers Technicians and Scientists (JETS) competition organized by the Federal Ministry of Education held in Lagos.

The feat was recorded by Miss Aishat Kareem – a Senior School Two learner at Aminat International College, Osara Road, Gbonagun Abeokuta alongside three other contestants who represented the State.


In a statement, the Principal of the College, Alhaji Mikail Anifowose congratulated Miss Aishat Kareem who scaled through the Zonal and State levels to emerge overall winner in Nigeria. He further stated that Miss Heeman Kareem also from the college did the State proud in the Junior School category.


Alhaji Anifowose however attributed the outstanding result recorded by Aminat International College, Obantoko, Abeokuta at the 22nd National JETS competition to a team of qualified and seasoned teachers, conducive learning environment and world-class facilities available in the college.


Ogun State Representative Miss Aishat Kareem while expressing joy at the success recorded said the hurdle was challenging, appreciating her teammates from other schools, teachers and management of Aminat International College, Obantoko, Abeokuta and the State Government for the opportunity.
